My career as a psychotherapist began in community mental health.  I completed training in individual and organizational psychoanalysis.  My research journey into the intersection of women's self-perception, ambition, and fear of success culminated in a dissertation that continues to inform my practice.

Over the last ten years, I have expanded my clinical practice to include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).  I have been both faculty and supervisor at psychoanalytic institutes, PPSC, ICP, and IEA.  I am currently a consultant at the Parnell Institute for Attachment-Focused EMDR and provide clinical consultation to EMDR therapists.

Drawing from my early career in corporate environments, including serving as an executive director for Estée Lauder, I bring a unique understanding of the corporate landscape to my practice. My work in international product development exposed me to diverse cultures, igniting my curiosity about human motivations and cultural influences. This global perspective laid the foundation for my eventual journey into psychotherapy, long before it became a conscious pursuit.
